Parents often ask us about which age is best for their children to start music lessons. Our answer is simple: the earlier the better! According to Dr. Robert A. Cutietta, author of “Raising Musical Kids”, a child’s musical education should begin as soon as they are born. Parents can begin teaching infants music simply by singing and dancing with them. Once a child turns three, Dr. Cutietta recommends that parents enrol their children in formal music lessons at a music school.
